Hello everyone:
Jaye here. I've been calling the Humboldt county ARES net for the last few months following the Columbia basin net. Unfortunately, the Columbia net continues to run into our net control time. To further complicate things, the OES folks decided to start using the frequency for their net at 8PM. That gives us all of about no time at all!
So, until further notice, we will start using the frequency of 3.955MHz for our Humboldt HF ARES net. That is 5 KHz down from the normal frequency that we've been using for almost forever, but this is long over due.
Please do me a huge favor and pass this Email along to other hams that you might have in your address book, since I only have a few hams in my list here. It would be fun to have a HUGE turn out next Monday at 7:45PM on 3.955MHz!
Thanks all for bearing with me! Looking forward to hearing you all next Monday.
73 everybody.
Thanks again for checking into the HF net.
Jaye, KE6SLS
