Tsunami Communications Test, Wednesday March 28th from 1100L to 1200L. Expect activation of the emergency Alert System, TV and radio test messages, some tsunami sirens will be activated and may sound twice, Civil Air Patrol broadcasting audible messages from aircraft, NOAA weather radio test message, and Humboldt Alert users test notification.
Next Humboldt Amateur Radio Club meeting is April 3rd.
Second Tuesday Workshop for April will talk about batteries and charging systems.
Next race event will be Avenue of the Giants Marathon on Sunday May 6. First race starts at 0745L. VHF Communicators will be needed.
