Structures Destroyed: 723 residences, 3 commerical structures, 240
outbuildings destroyed – 159 residences, 4 commercial structures and 30
outbuildings damaged
Total Fire Personel: 3,388
Firefighters worked through the night to build control lines. Today crews will
work to mitigate potential spot fires as shifting winds, dry fuels, and steep
drainages exist below control lines. Red Flag Warning expires today at 8 AM.
Damage assessment will continue as conditions allow.
Ranch Fire – July 30, 2018 12:16 pm

River Fire – July 30, 2018 12:15 pm
20,911 acres – 5% contained
Structures Destroyed: 6 Residences and 1 Outbuilding
Total Fire Personel: 1, 379
Firefighters continue to battle the River and Ranch fires. Crews worked
throughout the night to reinforce containment lines while the fire behavior
remained extreme. Weather conditions will continue to challenge firefighters
as hot, dry and windy conditions persist.

- The next Humboldt Amateur Radio Club meeting wil be Tuesday, August 7th, 1900L at the regular H.A.R.C. meeting place, 11th & E, Eureka.
