Monument Fire--Acres: 164,746 Containment: 29%. Was: 150,011 Acres.
Dixie Fire--Acres: 771,183 Containment:40% Was: 725,821 Acres.

Just for a bit of perspective about the number of fires currently burning in this area: the River Complex is about 25 miles from Hoopa, the Knob Fire is about 10 miles from Hoopa, the Monument Fire is about 20 miles from Hoopa, and the K-Rail Fire is about 4 miles.

HW-299 is open with restrictions. HW-36 is open.
